Tracey MacDonald is the trainer for Fit Chic Boot Camps. So that’s why I call it “Fit Chic!”. Don’t you men out there think for one second this is a little “girly” workout! I promise you, I have had many big tough men melt in one of my many workouts!! Fit Chic Boot Camp is for EVERYONE! It is a SUPERCHARGED 75 minute TOTAL BODY, fat incinerating workout!

The workout are totally result driven and done with one key concept in mind- MUSCLE CONFUSION! It is a MOTIVATING, EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE solution for busy people with busy lives! If you have the desire to change, I have the vehicle to get you there! Fit Chic Boot Camp is a TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING workout and most of the workouts are performed without weights, using only your body weight for resistance.

The workouts are intense, and focus on pushing your cardiovascular threshold. These ever-changing, super fun, motivating workouts will have you breaking out of old ruts and plateaus and seeing great new changes to both your endurance and physique. The group classes are designed with all fitness levels in mind, whether a beginner or an exercise veteran, man or woman, you are going to see your body CHANGE! The classes focus on pushing you outside your comfort zone, past where you can push yourself. WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT MY BOOTCAMPS?
LOTS!!! Instead of doing a “little bit of everything at every class”- I have designed my classes to move clients through a progression to optimal fitness. This doesn’t mean that you can’t sign up for a particular section if you missed the previous one, just that there is a specific fitness objective for each section.
 


Section One: Interval Training
(beginner and intermediate sessions)
(4-5 weeks; 2-3 x per week- May 3rd – June 4th)

Interval Training, in short, is the FASTEST way to improve fitness levels. 
It burns 9x more calories than cardio.  In essence, interval training means short bursts of intensive cardio load followed by bursts of lowered heart rate moves.

 

This bootcamp will dramatically expedite your track to fitness. 
You don’t have to be a world class athlete, and actually, any level of fitness is welcome to participate.  This class consists of some running, light sprinting, many body weight moves, push ups, step up, basic cardiovascular drills and always a few “Tracey-cises”- moves I’ve invented over the year.  This class is a lot of fun, with a heavy focus on cardiovascular endurance and lower body conditioning.


 

 

Section Two: Bells & Bands
(Resistance Training with Kettlebells & Resistance Bands)

“Bells & Bands” is a NEW resistance/weight training section. Kettle bells deliver extreme all-round fitness. And no single other tool does it better.

Here is a short list of hardware the Russian kettlebell replaces: barbells, dumbbells, belts for weighted pullups and dips, thick bars, lever bars, medicine balls, grip devices, and cardio equipment! Combining both resistance bands and kettlebells promises an effective total body resistance training, toning, tightening workout.

Section Three: Strength Conditioning and Super Core

Strength Conditioning and SUPER CORE:
is an exciting one hour 15 minute total body conditioning class which contains some interval training, sport conditioning using resistance bands.

The training will follow specific bodybuilding breakdowns training upper and lower muscle groups on specific days to ensure adequate rest and recuperation for the body. Each class will end with a 15 min “Super Core” section specifically designed to strengthen all areas of core, condition, trim and define the abs.

What does this all MEAN?
It means you are going to challenge your physical fitness and improve your conditioning! It means you are going to wake up the next morning and know you did something fantastic for your body.

Are you MAN enough for FIT CHIC?
There are a few things you need to know first! To begin, you have to commit to the program for 5 WEEKS, WHICH MEANS TWICE A WEEK you’ll be put through two different and equally grueling 75 min workouts. Clients sign up at the beginning of the session and pay 120.00 for the entire 5 weeks.

Secondly, NUTRITION! My motto has always been 80% FOOD, 20% workout! Keeping that in mind, not even this tough Boot Camp twice a week is going to change anyone’s body on its own. To ensure maximum results, you need a planned and balanced athletic nutrition plan both to fuel your workouts and to give your body the edge to burn body fat, while maintaining muscle. To ensure this, I am even including an abbreviated version of my patented “Custom Built Nutrition” program to follow. This is included in the above fee. Here you will be able to easily construct your own food program, using my easy to follow guidelines, to maximize your results with your individual needs and schedule. It will have the same awesome charts as I include in my personalized presentation, but it is a self-led program.

Where are Your Boot Camps Held?
Camps Boot Camps are held outdoors at public parks. Each session may change depending on enrollment in a designated area. Currently, we use Wildwood Canyon Park in Yucaipa and Ford Park in Redlands.


How do I register for Boot Camp?
Go to our Contact Page and Click on Registration Form to secure your spot. After registering online, you will receive a welcome email which will contain my book "Custom Built Nutrition", registration forms, assessment location and times, an overview of the camp and other instructions as necessary. You may also print and fill out the registration form provided on the Registration Page of this website and bring that with cash or a check ($120) made out to Tracey MacDonald, to your first Boot Camp session. Make sure you email Tracey at Tracey@fit2atworld.com and let her know you will be attending so a spot will be saved!

 

Why MY Boot Camp?
I walk the walk, and talk the talk. I don’t have any client do any exercise or workout that I haven’t already put myself through. Not only am I a certified personal trainer, but I am a nationally ranked fitness/figure champion who KNOWS how to get in shape! I have been training most of my life, over 20 years, and have been helping hundreds of local people, just like you, change their own bodies for over 5 years.

But, Why MY Boot Camp? If you want to change your physique, if you are tired of being tired and doing the same old thing and getting the same old results, then "This is For You!". If you are serious about making dramatic improvements to your body and want the fast track to fast results, here is where you need to be! You'll experience a positive environment with other people getting in great shape and having fun at the same time. In all the years that I have been training, my clients who want to change, CHANGE!

There are no miracle fat loss programs! This program is successful because it's very challenging and is structured for maximum results in minimum time. It is not for the weak of heart or weak on commitment! Fitness results don't happen by accident, so your level of participation will dictate results possible. IT'S UP TO YOU! That’s all it takes; YOUR COMMITMENT to change! I’ll do the rest!

What if I'm not very Physically Fit?
Regardless of your current fitness level, I can help you improve! NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join. The activity will slightly intensify with each class. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Are there any Pre-requisites?
All of the exercises are scalable to most fitness levels. The most important thing you need to bring is a GREAT ATTITUDE and that commitment! Some of the exercises will feel strange, you may stumble, you may get winded, but the only requirement is you do your BEST! This isn't social hour, so if you plan on lolly-gagging with your friends, you probably shouldn’t come.
I expect everyone to come and have a good time, BUT get an even better workout! If you have an underlying health concern or injury, this may not be the right program for you at this time. If you have specific physical concerns, please email me to discuss your options.

What is the Cost?
The registration fee for participants is $120 dollars for 5 weeks, which is 10 sessions. The classes are only $12 dollars per sessions.

What is the cancellation policy?
Boot Camp Fitness is an outdoor fitness program and like any other outdoor program weather sometimes comes into play. Weather will not necessarily delay or cancel a session.


There are two "rain scenarios" and consequential two different solutions:
1. If it is "lightly" raining (no thunderstorm warning) the night of your Boot Camp session, then the session will RUN! Please dress appropriately for the weather (hat, gloves, water proof outerwear, etc.).

2. If it is thunder-storming or it is thunder-storming (thunderstorm warnings), we will CANCEL your Boot Camp session. IMPORTANT, we will only decide to cancel a session at 4:30 pm day of your session. If your session is canceled, you will receive a group email one hour before your class is scheduled to run.


What Time Will We Meet?
The morning Boot Camps are held Mondays and Wednesday at 6 am SHARP at Ford Park in Redlands. Evening Boot Camps are scheduled Tuesday and Thursdays at 6:00pm at WildWood Canyon in Yucaipa. We meet rain or shine, cold days and hot...so be prepared for anything!

What items do I need?
You definitely do not need any special equipment. I would recommend an exercise mat (yoga mat) or an old towel for core work, comfortable athletic sneakers, track pants or shorts you can move around in and wouldn’t mind getting dirty! Always bring plenty of fluids, as some parks do not have readily accessible fountains. If the weather is a factor you will obviously have to bring along the appropriate gear for that kind of day.


Do you offer Private Boot Camps?
YES! If you have a minimum group of 12 People, pending location and availability of my time, we’d love to pleasantly whip you and your friends (Guys or CHICS!) into shape. Contact us right now to set it up.

What is the Pre-Camp Evaluation?
The first session will start 30 minutes early. Here in partners, you will assist in taking each others’ measurements using tapes and measure cards I will provide. You will be able to calculate your body fat from these measurements at home. This is really important to track your progress. I will take a “before” picture of each participant. Don’t get caught up in what the measurements are, they're strictly for a post-camp comparison.

These measurements and all other personal information is for your records only and is kept by you! Don't be surprised if you see a 2-4% reduction in your body fat and a loss of several inches over your first two weeks! Remember, the more consistent and dedicated you are, the better your results will be!

My goal is to drastically improve your fitness capacity... that's what's going to help you change your body. You'll also share the experience with other like-minded men and women who want to make healthy lifestyle changes and get awesome results just like you.

Will I be Sore?
Although we all snicker at the saying, “No pain, No gain!”, it isn’t entirely false. Unless you work a muscle to the point of soreness, it is not going to change! Most people feel soreness for the first several days.

After that point, there's residual soreness, but nothing you can't handle. It's part of the process that allows your body to adapt and improve! Get used to being uncomfortable. If you're not uncomfortable, you’re not improving!


How Soon will I see Results?
The first class will always be the hardest; not because I won’t push you harder the nest time, but because your body will slightly adapt to the pace and you will actually be able to complete more of the class, at your very next session.

Your performance will improve right away. Depending on your commitment level and effort level, it's common to see a client drop 2-4% in body fat within the first part of the session. I've had clients lose over 25 lbs in the first 30 days.

Remember, everyone's body is different so your results will differ. Everyone is expected to progress, regardless of where you're starting. If you aren't getting the results, then you're not putting in the effort, you're missing your scheduled camp days or you're not following what the all important diet!
